Update issues
If Design Upgrade Pro for LearnDash isn't updating, work through these checks before contacting support.
Check your license
Updates need an active license on this site. Go to Settings → Design Upgrade Pro for LearnDash → License and check the status next to License Key. If it isn't Valid, activate your license.
The Plugins screen also warns you when the key is missing or has expired.
License keys from the old escapecreative.com store aren't read by version 3. Enter the Tangible ONE key from your account.
Moved domains, or from staging to live?
A license counts live sites, so deactivate it on the old site first, then activate it on the new one: click Deactivate on the old site's License tab. Staging and development sites don't use up a license.
If you can't get into the old site any more, contact support and we'll free the key for you.
Maintenance mode
If your site is in maintenance mode, or a plugin restricts access to visitors, our update server may not be able to reach it. Either turn maintenance mode off while you update, or update by hand.
Security plugins and firewalls
Security plugins and firewalls (Wordfence, Sucuri, Solid Security and others) sometimes block updates. Pause them while you update, or update by hand.
Update by hand
If nothing else works, upload the new version yourself. Back up your site first.
- Download the latest
.zipfile from your Tangible ONE account. - In WordPress, go to Plugins → Add New Plugin and click Upload Plugin.
- Choose the
.zipfile and click Install Now. - Check the version numbers and click Replace current with uploaded.
Your settings are stored in the database, not the plugin files, so updating keeps your design as it is.
